Foundation Skills I is for puppies and dogs 5 months and older, and is our entry- level class and a pre-requisite for all classes other than Puppy I and  II. It introduces you and your dog to the foundation obedience behaviors such as come, sit, down, with me (loose-lead walking), give and eventually sit and down stays with the handler within 3 ft.  Other fundamental good mannered behaviors to be taught are taking treats gently/easy command, name game, and settle command. All behaviors taught will be done with the use of treats as rewards.
