Building Blocks for the Agility Ring

This agility class will focus on being prepared to perform successfully in the agility ring.  We will cover all aspects of trialing, from the dog being comfortable and focused at the show grounds to completing your agility run.  We will help you build your dog’s skills for being focused in a distracting crowded environment, warming up ring side and running a course, as well as working on your dog’s obstacle performance and understanding of handling skills.  We will also cover entering trials, walking courses, and your handling skills, so you and your dog can be a successful team when trial.
All students in this class will be required to help build the course for the week.  Students will be expected to arrive 15 minutes before the start of class and stay 15 minutes after class.
This class is for dogs and handlers preparing to enter their first trial or dogs and handlers who have encountered problems with focus, motivation (speed) or reactivity issues in the trial setting.
